I collect some cinema books also, mainly the “art of” series for animation movies. There’s a list of art books reviewed on my blog.
Great blog! I am a screenwriter/director and have hundreds of film books scattered throughout my digs. My favorites have to do with the craft, including “On Directing” by David Mamet, “Making Movies” by Sidney Lumet, and “Story” by Robert McKee.
You should check out my blog, ART THROUGH ADVERSITY. It’s all about the craft of cinematic storytelling. http://artthroughadversity.wordpress.com/
Keep up the terrific blog!
You know good writing. All those titles at the top.
MadMike is an absolute lunatic (in a good way).
Hi,
I’m a recent UW journalism student and am working on my blog/portfolio. I interviewed Stephanie Ogle to profile and would love to speak with you and perhaps get some feedback about your experiences at Cinema Books and with Stephanie that I could include in the article.
Please feel free to respond via e-mail.
Thanks so much for your time!
Best,
Asli
